SeaQuest's Malibu BCD will help you feel like you're flying through the water. The backpack design and back inflation method are so streamlined that drag will be a thing of the past. Not only is this BCD sleek, but it is also highly durable due to the fact it is constructed out of 420D material. The Malibu's fit is incredibly adjustable; no matter the specifics of your built, the Malibu can be adjusted to hug your body comfortably and securely.

This BCD is also fully weight integrated and can accommodate up to 20 pounds of lead weight. The dual pull dump options (right shoulder and lower) will never leave you struggling when you want to descend to a greater depth. The patented traction pad prevents your cylinder from slipping up and down your back while you're submerged; this is a feature all divers wish they had on their BCDs! The plentiful D-rings give you lots of options for affixing your gear and goodie bags.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Malibu BC:

I gave it 4 flags because of the pocket. Otherwise I found this BC to be the ticket. It dumps air fast. No need for holding the inflate/deflate hose over your head. Just pull it as well as the right shoulder dump and down you go. When you have a hand full of camera, this is great. It's stable enough to allow some real up close and personal shots.
It packs well and accommodates my Air2. The weight pockets are placed so that they're hardly noticeable. It's styled well but I'm not a big on the yellow piping on the D rings

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Malibu BC:

The air dumps work great. I never had to raise the inflater hose to submerge. I just used the right pull dump and the one on the inflater hose and down you go. With my hands holding my camera, this is a great feature.

I was impressed with the steady attitude I could maintain with the back inflation in current. This is a must to take U/W photos.

At the surface, if you don't inflate completely, there's less of a tendency for the BC to push your face in the water as other 'back inflate' BC's do.

The low drag characteristics of this BC allowed meet to slip and glide from one shooting point to another.

The weight pocket placement is comfortable and I didn't notice any tendency to shift even though I like to wear the belt strap loosely. The BC held the tank firmly in place with one tank strap because of the hard back plate.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Malibu BC:

I really like the Malibu. It's back-inflatable and low profile keeping your arms free to work a camera or simply feel open. The dumps are well placed and convenient. It's comfortable around the lumbar region with integrated weights. This is an ideal recreational dive BC for those who take a minimalist approach to equipment.
