The SeaQuest Latitude XLT BCD is the ideal blend of features and usability. This BCD has what diver's need, without adding so many features that confusion can occur. The integrated weight system allows you to carry the majority of your weight across your shoulders and back instead of only on your hips; this weight system also has the patented SureLock system, which ensures you can rely on your weight system at all times. In addition, the expansion gusset at the lower portion of the BCD offers you greater lift than the Latitude XLT's competitors, without the increased sense of bulk and drag.

This BCD is also equipped with two non-ditch rear pockets; this is a key safety feature offered by the Latitude XLT. In case of an emergency and you have to dump your weights, the rear pockets retain a portion of your weights, allowing you to have a more controlled ascent. If you were to dump all of your weights, your ascent would be dangerously fast.

Not only is this BCD safe, it is rugged and will meet your needs. The exterior is crafted out of Armorshield Condura¦, which means the Latitude XLT can take the bumps and bruising dive gear has to endure.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude XLT BC:

I was using a Zeagle BCD before this one and i like the Sea-Quest a LOT more. It's more stream line than the Zeagle and at the surface having the bladder wrap around you makes floating easy. I would highly recommend this BC to anyone. I'm 6'8" and the XL fits like a glove. So it is definitely a good BC for big guys. Only down side is i wish it had more D rings, otherwise it's an amazing BC and i'll get a lot of use out of it.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude XLT BC:

I have been diving for over 20 years and have owned many B.C.s of different brands and styles. I say this one is the best so far because with the good fit (provided by the adjustment devices and its profile) and integrated weight system, it would not ride up above your shoulders when your floating on the surface. I no longer need jock straps to keep the B.C. in place. It keeps my head way above the water on the surface even during swells and significant waves. This, when I'm supporting my housed SLR camera in my tummy and leaning backwards. It's trim profile eliminates drag underwater and when swimming on your back in the surface. In fact, I use less effort when I'm swimming towards the boat or skiff at the surface on my back. I found thiS is the most practical way to swim at the surface because of my camera rig. The weight pockets make it easy to add or subtract weights to suit your indidual needs, so as to keeep your body from leaning/tilting to one side caused by the destribution of your console, dive lites, wrist computers, pony bottle, etc. It is somewhat difficult to get objects from the main pockets of the B.C. but this may be solved by selecting smaller signalling mirror, sausage, etc to put there.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude XLT BC:

Have owned this for some time, trained in it and bought one, love it. This does it all, would like steel rings instead of plastic, but other than that it has everything you need. Lots of holders and pockets, have room for all you will need to take with you. I really like the weight system, easy to use and the back weights are just perfect, adds to the stability of the system. What impresses me the most is the added feature to remove the weights to put it on with the tank and then add the weights. Less to try to handle at once and make the unit much more balanced,
I would highly recommend this to anyone, starting out to a heavy rec diver. I will buy one just like this when this one wears out!!
