I used this BCD in a training class and liked it so much I bought one. True, it doesn't have all of the features of a top of the line BC, but it's very comfortable and durable. I've attached rings, clips, and retractors to it and it does everything I want it to do. Very nice BCD.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
I had to buy this BC during a trip when my Mares Pegassus "Air-Trim" valve stuck and the dive-op technician said it could not be serviced (false! I easily fixed it on my return home). As others have said, this is a basic BC, lacking in features that are a must to some of us, like a rear dump valve or a back-handle to lift the scuba assembly into the boat. If you need to hang accessories at the hip line, forget it! This one is truly miserly on D-Rings. Only 3 and none of them at the hip-line. On the other hand, it's very comfortable, the inflator valve is a piece of cake to service and the service kits, as well as complete valve assemblies, are readily available from well stocked dealers. The shoulder strap clips are kinda strange but work very well once you become used to them. The velcro attachment of the weight pockets is a cause of concern, as I've watched them to drop underwater transforming the diver into an ICBM; however, it has never happened to me and mine feel secure. I guess they degrade with age. In all, I wish the dive store had a better model that solved my gripes. I'm looking forward to replace it with a less Spartan model like the Pro or the Black Diamond.
Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
It has a place for a chest strap but doesn't come with one. It wasn't that irritating until about the 5th dive of the day though. The back weight pockets also only hold about 2# each. Other than that I think it was a great deal.
Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
My 12 year old son has used this BC on many dives. It's difficult to find equipment for juior divers. He's used it consistantly for 2 years through his advanced classes. We added the integrated AIR-2. This is the BC for your junior diver. They'll need to be average height and weight at 10-12 years for the BC to fit right.

Great BCD - shame they are discontinued - wanted to get a 2nd for my son..
Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
I am a member of a Public Safety Dive Team and I love the Seaquest. Although it is slightly bulky getting into some smaller spaces, it is, overall, a very comfortable BCD and I am very happy with it.
Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
I am disappointed that the BCD did not come with a chest strap or the lower rear BCD dump valve. These are very inexpensive items for the manufacturer to include, and very valuable items for the diver. I feel this is a bit of "bait and switch" type selling!
Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
Weight-release ability is ideal for those of us with shoulder problems.
Prompt delivery, but the price dropped $25 a few days after it arrived.
Confusion about shoulder strap.

Just Began diving this year, This Jacket Style BC doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some do... But It is functional and well built.
Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
taken on 3 dive trips. very comfortable. like integrated weights but lost one side twice due to velcro. looking to update to this year's model with better weight system. no carry handle sucks. i was going to write to them but they already put it in this year's model. my 2nd seaquest bc on my way to my 3rd.
Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
It's a BC that does the job. Sure it doesn't have all that "stuff" some people want. Stainless steel this and that, magic buttons to go up and down, or grommets to hold a knife. Yeah, lets mount a knife to a BC. Good price for a good BC.
Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
I had used a lesser SeaQuest model in my Open Water training and knew I'd like this one. I plan on adding the top chest strap for a more secure fit.

I was told about this product by my brother-in-law and was extremely happy withit from the begining. I love the integrated weight system and easily adjustable

This is a really great product. I will continue in the future buy these products.
Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
Worked fine underwater. Integral weights are a great feature! But, on the surface I had to fight to keep upright. The lower front of the BCD kept working its way back. The clips at the front need to be attached to the vest and not the cumberbund.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
overall happy with product. didnt like having to buy chest strap, back bump valve,or knife kit. A bit large to travle with. Bc has performed well in warm, deep & cold water. often have found myself wondering if weights pockets would come out at depth due to velcrow insted of locking system. overall, good product for $.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
Initially, out of the box....it looks good......The previous loose stap review is due to operator error....alll BC's do that if you don't wet the strap on initial snugdown when first purchasing the product...Anyway, its OK....BUT....no carrying handle on top of BC....That one detail absolutely drives me nuts! Reallyreally. The overpessure dump is not tight when filling the Jacket completely up. Not necassarily reassuring/ kinda cheezy......It has a fitting for a dump valve in the back....tho is capped.....You have to pay extra and order it....I think it essential, when wanting to dump excess bouyancy in the prone position........Gotta pay extra. I'll keep it tho, as a backup for guests/family or as a spare.....I think That I was really spoiled by The Cressi Sub jacket that I got from [...] which is an absolute BOMB!The d rings on this BC are cheap plastic instead of stainless .....In the whole, the lattitude seems cheaply constructed: with some omissions which make the jacket less expensive.....but still cheap...give me a GRAB HANDLE...on the backpack.....bottom line.....spend a little bit more....and get a whole lot more........I love my Cressi....don't go cheap on this item.....

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
I have about 20 dives with this BC in a 2 week time frame, and I love it. For a woman, I feel that it is very comfortable. I don't even realize that it's on during the dive. The pockets are nice and deep. A good feature for your flashlight.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
This is the second Seaquest BC that I have purchased and will not be the last. The BC is very well made and has all the features I require. The strap system hasn't changed in the 15 years I have been using Seaquest BC's and have never experienced any problems.

Comments about Aqualung Seaquest Latitude BCD:
This is a very nicely made product with great features however is is difficult to adjust the tank strap. My tank slipped out of the strap at 85 feet in a current. My dive partner had a tough time getting it back in the strap and tighten it.
This is not much easier above water.
