The Reef Rider BCD is the traveling and comfort-seeking diver's new best friend. The Reef Rider is incredibly low-profile, lightweight, and offers an amazing amount of movement freedom. Its padded neck collar and adjustable sternum strap are some of the Reef Rider's most touted comfort features.

The Reef Rider has the EZ Equipment Weight System, which allows you to easily load and unload your weights. This weight system eliminated all difficult buckles and complicated threading systems.

I bought this because it was on sale as I am now outfitting 3 divers in my family. It's perfect, packs well, and adjusts to a variety of sizes (from adult to teens) using the med.

Overall very happy with what I got for the price. Like the optional weight packs on the back by the tank and think the construction is good.

I think the design of the emergency weight release could be better. It's seems like it might be a little awkward to try to release in an emergency.

Being a beginner diver, I can't say what the more expensive models would offer but, I didn't find anything that would limit me in any of the dives I've done so far.
The collar is really nice in that it's rolled over and soft so, there is no uncomfortable feeling around the neck.
Overall an excellent value.

Light weight, packs well, comfortable w/o exposure suit, big pockets, low profile back inflation, easy weight system, lots of attachemnt points. Plactic D-rings need to be used with quick disconnet systems (not a problem really, you just have to set it up right) as they are not as easy to use as pre-bent metal D-rings.

I absolutely love this BC. It is almost like not wearing anything at all. The fit is perfect. The inherent bouyancy is almost nothing, less lead = more better.
