It is very good BC and well crafted. Light weight. However it wasn't as flexible as I expected and will take up some space in the bag. Also has 3/4" corrugated hose like all aeris/oceanic bcs. If you want to have power inflator, make sure it can accommodate small hose size. Also I'm skinny and I would recommend a cummerbund or else it's very lose around the waist.

This is a great travel BCD, I have flown back in forth Jeddah many times and had no problems.

I GOT MY FIRST TASTE OF IT IN THE RED SEA. ITS EASY TO ADJUST WHILE OUT OF THE WATER AND ONCE IN THE WATER YOU DONT EVEN KNOW ITS THERE. LIGHTWEIGHT AND COMFORTABLE. 2 OF MY FRIENDS SOLD THEIR BCDS AND BOUGHT ONE.

I bought this bcd before going on a scuba trip in cancun. There i loved this bcd. i was diving with a 7mm full wet suit and i found it to have adiquit weight pouches. since using it on multiple dives with it here in northern canada, i realized i need to add more weith then what the bcd could hold (since i was wearing over 15 mm of wet suit due to diving in 1 degree celsius water) and was forced to purchase individual weight pouches. other then that i cant say anything bad about it, the bcd provides enough lift to lift me about 235 pound guy and all 28 pounds of weight i need to sink with my wet suit on.

Not a lot to this slick little BC. One more pocket would be nice but it trims so well I don't mind. It looks more like a wing than a complete BC.
You may need to add the optional cumber bun if it does not fit you perfectly.

My first BC and I can say I love it. I decided to go with back inflation since you seem to have so much more freedom than a vest, and it is true. Virtually no side bulk with this BC. I have so much more freedom with my arms with this BC as apposed to the vests i had always rented. Everyone warned that it would push me forward on the surface, but it didn't at all. May have to do with the fact that I'm a bigger guy, 6'4" 190. Only used in in cold water with a 7MM, but can't wait to get it into warm water. Trim weights on the tank strap are a little weird, but aren't that much of a nuisance. If you want a back inflation BC with tons of freedom, i recommend this one.

I've got 10 dives with this BC now and I've been very happy with the fit and balanced flotation. It is my first back buoyancy BC, but I really like the stability. I do wish that the BC had a pocket to put things like a car key or other personal items, but I guess that's the point of a minimalist BC. It does have a pouch for small items found below, but doesn't seem meant for personal items.
I'm not a big guy (5-9, 165lbs) and there seems to be a bit of space between my stomach and the abdomen strap, due to the integrated weights not flexing much (I'm keeping 10lb in each, due to diving in the Pacific NW). Also, the weight pockets on the tank strap can make putting the tank on a little bit annoying, but I've gotten used to it now. The integrated weight system is really easy to use and goes in/out with ease.
Surface flotation is great, even in rough water.
I've been very happy with this BC so far, and can't wait to use it in some warm water.
