My wife needed ankle weights because her fins are positively buoyant and she is tiny, but we couldn't find any weights light enough to do the job. These "fill your own" weights were PERFECT for us, she ended up using 1 1/4 pounds per leg after dialing in her buoyancy on several dives. They are well made and after 30 dives no problems have occurred!

a good value after your ankle weights show signs of age. take the weights from the old units and just install in the new sleaves, save some money with very little work.

Used for diving a dry suit in the cold southern California Pacific waters. Needed to be able to adjust weight to get optimal buoyancy and trim. Well made and never "leak shot" like some other fillable weights. However, as noted in another review, they do need an extra inch or two of adjustment. They are really tight over my dry suit, and I am not a big guy.

My wife needed ankle weights to get her trim perfect, but they were all too heavy... this allowed us to fill up our own ankle weights to exactly what she needed (using shot from a torn soft weight sack we already had).
Just the ticket if you need lighter weights or want to really nail your trim.

These ankle weights are extremely easy to fill and easy to clip and unclip. It was difficult to find "fillable" ankle weights that work well for someone with small ankles, but these are GREAT!

Works great for me but I've got skinny ankles. Not a lot of room to adjust outward. Needs another inch or so to the adjustment strap.
