Easy to use and has places for almost everything you might want to log except time in and out and that's easy enough to write in.
I keep a detailed log on my computer with my ScubaPro Galileo, but I still keep a paper log for several reasons:
- Tradition, I got into the habit and I enjoy doing it.
- If you every show up at a strange place for an advanced dive and they want to check your experience, a zippered binder with your log books is the simple3st place to keep that info
- Doing the tables (based on average depth to prevent the 2nd and third dives of the day from becoming Deco dives) helps me to review the physiology behind RNT and the like.
The new version of the RED PADI book is just about perfect for my needs.

Has all the boxes to enter everything about the dive - bottom time, depth, temp, weights, conditions, your gear and dive attire, decompression limits and lets you add up your total dive time. Lots of room to record your observations, comments and reminders for future reference. I used to use loose leaf pages but needed a large zipper filed holder. With this, it is more compact. Extra pages for DAN (and their phone #) and recording other info.

Great way to keep your logged dives organized so you can look back at them.

Good book. You will need to keep it protected in a 3-ring binder, or else it would get trashed on trips.
