Unless you want to take the PADI multi-Level diving specialty course I can see no use for this prehistoric dinosaur. It's hard to read the small print. If I want a rough pre-diveback-up, the RDP that came gratis with my open water kit or EANx kit will suffice.
If I want a more accurate intra-dive back-up for my computer, I will rely on my dive buddies. We will all ascend when the most conservative computer says to.

I am a DIT and needed this for my course. This is a very innovative idea whose time has passed with the newer iterations of dive computers. Good knowledge, but limited to how accurate you are in lining this thing up and if you are young enough to read small.
