I bought it for one reason. I wanted a logbook that would be noticeable from everyone else's on a boat and I didn't want an cute, artsy-fartsy picture of a fantastical "Little Mermaid" scene.
I used my paint pen to write my name in block letters on the spine.

I own 2 of these logbooks. Great for organization, logging your dives & having everything in one place. This book will also last you many, many years. However, this is not a small book. If you want something light & small to take with you on your travels, order one of the smaller portable logbooks that you can place within this permanent book

Great binder. Lots of roon and excellent features (pocket, key ring, pen clips, room for business cards). There is a cute doplhin on the front nthat is not pictured. I was going to try to draw teeth on it and make it look like a shark, but it would still be too cute.

Very functional and convenient way to organize your logs, C-cards, dive tables, charts, etc! I had a very similar log book for years and finally wore it out!.... I wanted another just like it!.. Well, this one is even better than the original!

At first I thought it was too big compared to my entry level PADI log book, and it IS bigger. But after I put in my tables, PADI cards, business cards, and a bunch of pages that I scanned and printed from the PADI book - it is a perfect size. The little pocket in the front fits my DAN 1st aid book perfectly too. It is rugged and I see having it for a long time. The only thing I don't like is a dolphin logo on the front, not pictured in the above image. But overall - its just the ticket.
