works real well, outperformed my explorer. the only draw back is access to the battery and battery life. Otherwise it's a great little unit.

Great aid for getting to and from reefs, wrecks, etc. Effective swimming aid for snorkeling and diving. A confidence builder for swimmers with limited endurance. Definitely adds to the diving experience. Well constructed and easy to maintain.

Comments about Sea-Doo Sea-Doo Seascooter VS Supercharged Water Scooter:
Great for shore dive getting too and from your dive spot, or going through a current. I cant say enough good about these I dont know how I made it this long without one. The only drawback is that it seems to go too fast for a wreck dive or when you just want to explore, and too bulky to drag around with you so you have to get to where you are going and tie it up. But well worth it....

Comments about Sea-Doo Sea-Doo Seascooter VS Supercharged Water Scooter:
Purchase came with a canvas carry bag (nice), but the metal zippers were constructed so poorly that each zipper broke apart like an egg shell during their initial use (not so nice).
Scooter motor is noisy - can't say if louder than normal or any other type, as this is my first - it is sure to scare away fish and draw unwanted attention to yourself from other divers. I was told it sounded a lot like a dentist's drill!
Not very powerful for my needs - I am 6-03, 260lbs, and the scooter barely pulls me. On the other hand, my wife is 5-04, 108lbs, and it seems to pull her along quickly.
Delivery was prompt and hassel free.

The carry bag is too small and the zippers fell apart when I first used them.

Great energy saver - Best use is for getting from one place to another. Gets in the way when you want to check things out and go slow. Takes both hands to operate.

[...]Lots of fun snorkeling, and beach diving. Motor is a bit noisy.
Comments about Sea-Doo Sea-Doo Seascooter VS Supercharged Water Scooter:
The scooter is reasonably priced, very functional, durable and just a lot of fun. Makes it possible to cruise around large wreck sites to familiarize yourself with the scene in a single dive. Allows you to see much more!
