ok, it's no Seadoo, but for the price it's the best scooter on the market. There is no transmission in this one so it's operation is almost silent. The power is good. Pulls like a $700 Seadoo. You have to be gentle with the screw-in seal plug (it's plastic). The latches are a little weak but get the job done. If you keep the oring greased and you don't overtighten the seal plug you should get years of service out of this scooter. Battery life is good (app. 45min run time)

This scooter was a great purchase. I wasn’t sure if for the price it was going to be worth anything. The first time I used it I was amazed. It towed me through the water with ease. My buddy was pretty upset that she couldn’t keep up with me. I was able to extend my bottom time by 20 minutes due to the little use of air. Last week my dive buddy purchased the same one and we are going this weekend for a long dive.

I got this scooter to reduce some of the swimming I have to do when teaching. The second time I used it, the cheap plastic water-tight plug stripped and it flooded. Luckily I was able to dry it out and it still works but I will have to get a new plug. Very cheaply made.

Got it for Christmas and went to the Bahamas it was like flying under water. Never used so little air before! Well worth it!!

I bought this believing it might last for perhaps 40 dives. For the price, I felt that this would be fair. Try 4 dives. The thing worked pretty well on the very first dive but soon after, it basically crapped out. Either the motor was defective or the battery wouldn't hold a charge. After the last dive, a full charge wouldn't make the prop turn effectively even in air! Couldn't even use it to fan myself topside. Given the cost to return comes out of my pocket and it's 30 pounds of freight charges to mail it back, I'm done. I simply want my money back. This thing was a clunker. The price was great, but come on . . . 4 dives and only the first dive did it perform up to expectations.
Although the unit did not leak at the surface or depth, the latches on the front cone are poorly constructed (plastic) and without the force of negative pressure at depth, I was fearful that it would eventually leak given enough attempts at the surface. After only one use, the latches did not firmly snap in a fully closed position.
