I found the product to be useful as a sand anchor for my tent. ive never used it with my kayak.
it came as decribed "except" the pully was a ring not a full wheeled pully as it looks on the picture. otherwise it if functional for the reason i got it as a sand anchor.

nice little kit, but the original picture when purchased shows a pully system for remote lowering and raising it did not come with this. happens a lot on the net when buying things.
