Very weak, cracks and breaks easily. I bought my D9 and found it good to start with but I've started to find weaknesses in it's design. For such an expensive watch you would think the designers would of made it a [*] of a lot better.

I've got my second strap after the first one cracked. The second one is cracking, too. Due to the odd mounting style, no other straps will do, despite Suunto using standard mount pins on several other computers. The elastomer material (plastic) wears out far too quickly for something of this price. A cheap strap from [...] would last longer, if it could mount. And the other option of the titanium metal strap is even more ridiculous, especially with the difficulty of adding links to adjust it to fit over a dry suit.

If you have purchased the D9 with the Titanium strap there is no need to purchase the plastic replacement strap, as one comes with the D9.
On the positive side, it is really simple and easy to change between wrist bands. However, the D9 doesn't come with an allen key to enable you to do this and you will have to purchase one yourself.
