Manufactured from high grade marine brass then chrome finished this valve will last many years of diving. Valve has an easy grip on-off hand wheel which is easy to operate even with mittens. Valve is equipped with a dip tube to keep any cylinder debris from entering the breathingmechanism.

I was told that Sherwood valves were good old valves with quality. The valve that I received shows foundry marks with brushed finish. I would have expected a polished and better finished product. The rubber knob looks low price and quality. My old Dacor valve (no marks) looks better finished, except it needs replacement due to a chipped corner of the valve.

I would recommed that if you are going to purchase a new tank to upgrade your K valve.
it is only a few extra $$$ and it is well worth it.( just for the better quality )

Really excellent item. 3000 PSI Nominal pressure with a rupture disk at 4000 PSI.
