Writing in a log book is time consuming and if you don't have good handwriting illegible. Log books are small and difficult to fill in the blanks. The Suunto PC Interface is for uploading logbook dives to a PC in order to optionally store and organize the data, computer statistics, simulate dives and personalize the logbook file. Rather than filling out the logbook, just print out your log sheets to prove your diving experience.

No drama, works perfectly. I use it with Macdive rather than the Sunnto Dive software as I do not use a PC - which makes it expensive for just a cable.

I have the Suunto D6 dive computer, and wanted to get the software to log the dives.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work on a mac, something that I hadn't seen when I was shopping for the item.
At the end of the day I found other software that runs on the mac and downloads the dives, however, before spending the money on a cable make sure it'll work on your mac or PC.

Easy to load and use. Works flawlessly. Only works with windows but is just as easy to use on Mac if you have parallels.

Started useing the D6 on recreational dives and the program to be able to glance at information the program gives you

Service & Delivery comments:

Had a little mix up with the delivery but Leisure Pro took care of the problem so I could move on with my vacation. (Great Job form Leisure Pro customer service department and very helpful.
