When applying the shrink wrap, use a hair dryer starting in the area where the design does not cover. Do not apply heat to the creased area of the wrap. As the wrap shrinks it will draw from the creased edge, leaving it smooth and undamaged. Apply heat to the neck or top area last. Do not cover your Visual Inpection Sticker with your design.

The clear plastic sleeve protects the artwork and tank from dinks and scratches.

Unless they've changed this product, an earlier review was totally made up. No part of this product is made of cardboard. Both the inner and outer parts of the scuba hide they sent me are made of plastic and will not fall apart when wet. This is a really cool product. It's usefull for personalizing your tanks, and it will also either make an old scratched up tank look new, or help prevent chips and scratched on a newer tank. Not bad for so little money.

These tank skins are really cool. Color disappears with depth but not patterns. As a divemaster, students can easily recognize me underwater by my tank. Out of the water, they make your tanks easily identifiable. Hey, diving is supposed to be fun! I've had about a zillion positive comments about my skins (Absolute Scuba and LifeSavers). The transparent skin will get dammaged with holders in a boat so be carefull and buy 1-2 extras! Note that they only fit on standard 80 alu.

Looks good online but this product is really quite cheap.. It's just heavy paper with the print on it and a heat shrink to cover over it that does'nt keep the water out and after 1 or 2 dives the paper gets water logged and you can guess the rest..

The only drawback is you have to remove (cut) the protective/application sleeve off and purchase another to reapply the graphic. This is due to complete tank vis checks unless you have your own compressor, this could double the cost of a vis.

Alittle tough to get on just perfect, but it does look nice when done right.

When I take my tanks into the dive shop for air fills, they don't even tag my tanks, because I'm the only one in my area who has these. All the people in the shop know they are mine. They love them!
These come with 2 shrink wraps. Make sure you srink them evenly, or like my first one, you will end up cutting it off and using your 2nd wrap. But that is not a problem also, seeing how you are able to order more shrink wraps also.
