The X-Bracket utilizes your existing BCD strap or a separate cam strap can be used for technical applications. Current uses include travel, rental of pony tank systems and double tank systems. I use this product to secure a 6 cu. ft. Argon Drysuit Inflation Bottle to my twin steel 120 cu. ft. tech rig. I used 2 hose clamps to mount it to my left tank because my tanks are mounted to my BC with steel bands. You can pick up the hose clamps and any hardware store. It works great!

I've seen similar products that cost 2-3 times as much. This is lightweight, easily transfers from one tank to another using a seperate tank strap and keeps the pony bottle in place. I've had problems in the past with bottles turning and slipping. This is one of my best investments.

Use it with doubles by mounting with seperate cam strap. U shaped rubber extrusion on hose clamps saves tank finish.
Although bracket had 3 great review it was the junk review that sold me. Beginners usually blame the product.

This is just junk. Look closely at the way it attaches now figure your swapping tanks between dives trying to hold up the pony as you swap main tanks. Save yourself the aggravation and pass on this item. I tossed mine into the dive junk bin. Now I wait for a PONY TAMER.
