No needed for the 1524 case, it will take a standard lock, or get the pelican / TSA lock that is offered when you buy the case.

First its quite sensitive to handle when it comes to positioning, i end up with mine being bolt cutted to open my 1510, the size does not really suites the cases at it could be prone to hook onto something else and might cause further damage, i hope Pelican can will be able to redesign a new one that will fit the cases in a streamline point of view
