Due to a new inert gas welding technique OMS Bands are the strongest in the world! A 3rd party conducted a destructive pull test andthe nearest high quality competitor's bands failed at 7000 lbs. pull while OMS bands withstood 9500 lbs.! Additionally, if you own painted cylinders you can take comfort in knowing that OMS band edges are rolled (edge relieved) to prevent paint gouging and scratching during assembly (most other bands have sharp non-rounded edges). Threaded rods, nuts and washers are supplied with each band kit so that you can use single or multiple back plates (dedicated bolts do not allow you to do this). 2.5" width designed for short to medium height cylinders and 7.25" O.D. Cylinders. Manifold center to center distance 215 mm +/- .75, and the rod length 5/16"-18 x 6.5" L.

Comments about OMS OMS 2.5" band width - 7.25" O.D. Twin Band Kit:
Standard doubles bands for 7.25" OD tanks. Well made and very functional, but would be better with plastic sleeves to protect tank paint at diver's option.
