I bought it and 3rd dive useing it, shot a baracuda, it spun, snaped off, and swam away with my tip. PS i had it screwed on right because i still have the bottom peice

I speared a Splake (Brook Trout Lake Trout Hybred) with a rather low shot that would have ripped out with a standard speat tip. The cable stayed in and I was able to work the fish up into shallow wate an retrive it.
