The Akona/Genesis BCD Pro Accessory Kit is especially designed to work with ALL Genesis and Sherwood BCD's. Akona's BCD Pro Kit adds all the features you want to your BCD with a custom built-in look. Both Genesis and Sherwood BCD's have strategically located clips and corrosion free grommets to attach all items in the Pro Accessory Kit.

So now when you're fining over the reef your console is retracted up snug to your gear, yet with one pull of the cable the instruments are easy to read. Whenfinished monitoring your instruments they automatically retract to their snug upposition out of the way. The original Akonos kit was fabulous. Used it for 3 years of boat, shore diving and Live Aboards from Maui to Mexico, never a problem.. My knife was stolen out the gear room at Stuart's Cove and when I replaced it, I haven't been on a dive trip since where it didn't fall out spontaneously. The new scabbard doesn't release as easily when it is supposed to and broke on the first trip I used it on. Another replacement lost with a giant stride off an Aggressor and I watched it tumble over a 300 foot wall and disappear in less than 30 seconds. It fell out last month while climbing the ladder and fell on the deck in Bonaire. Akonos needs to return to the old design or have it made with better plastic manufacturer. My husband who is a Dive Professional still has his original 8 year old one. I think about switching it, but he would notice.

This product is incredible. The flashlight is the perfect backup for my other dive lights and thanks to the steel cable, its always securely fastened. Also to console retractor is great for keeping streamlined whilst diving but it makes it easier to locate and view your computer/gauges. The knofe is great beacuse it attaches to -your bc and is easy to unclip
