Whiskers are designed to give you control of the volume and speed of the water that passes over your fins. For maximum thrust, adjust Whiskers inward to channel the water from around your body and over the surface of the blade. Water accelerates as it travels between the Whiskers into a focused jetstream, to propel you forward.
For easy kicking over long distances, set Whiskers parallel to one another. This limits the spread of rapidly moving water. Water is guided directly behind you, the blade is stabilized, and efficiency is increased.

For the price of this force fin accessory it was hard for me to bite the bullet, especially, I bought thses from Force fin for about a [$]instead of [$]from leisurepro. Arrgh. They work extremely well as they were intended for efficiency and maximum power. Just one click in on both sides on the pair of fins, you can actually, feel the difference. I hate to say but it is almost mandatory to have the whiskers for your Force wings accomadating force fins. I have tried my force Fins without the Force wings (whisker) and the difference for stability and control is also much better with the whiskers installed on my excellerating and Extra Force fins.
