I'm not a diver, but a coastal wade fisherman, and have used this bag to carry my gear, including fins for over 20 years. Now I know I got it at a dive shop! Even though my steel closure pieces are not stainless steel they only have surface rust after all of these years, so no certain there. If the current ones have SS, then they are superior to mine.
