The AquaSketch Minno is the world's most convenient and durable way to take notes underwater. Not only does it simplify the task of writing or drawing, it also offers unlimited paper capacity making it unnecessary to waste time erasing during a dive. Small enough to fit in a pocket, the Minno can be worn on your wrist or attached to your BC with a retractable lanyard.

...this patented technology has been widely used by NASA, the U.S. military, marine researchers and search & rescue organizations.

AquaSketch is dependable, durable and simple to use. Unlike devices that can wear out or breakdown, a quick turn of the knob to advance the scroll always provides a clean surface ready for immediate use. If necessary, corrections can be made during a dive using the eraser provided.

After a dive, all notes and drawings can be scanned into a computer or transcribed by hand for permanent storage. The vellum can then be erased using a standard eraser and reused.

Comments about Aqua AquaSketch Minno Wrist Slate:

I put a line 8" from each end so I know when I'm getting close to end of roll. Perfect for tech dives when communication beyond simple hand gestures is vital. Only con is the pencil appears to be graphite which is fairly brittle. So far, so good though.

Service & Delivery comments:

Package was delivered quickly, in good condition. Have never had a problem with you folks.

Comments about Aqua AquaSketch Minno Wrist Slate:

I was just recently certified and used the Aquasketch during the underwater training exercises to converse with my instructor. Above water I took notes on the skills, and "how to" tips. During the underwater training, I reviewed my notes and when I had questions I just scrolled forward, wrote them out, and he clarified everything by doing the same. It was great to get thorough answers without having to worry about running out of writing space. I'm going to scan these notes to save them for reference. I can't imagine getting certified without it and will always have it on future dives. Awesome!

i marked the page at the begining and end so i wouldnt scroll the paper too far.

The Eraser was really horrible, but just get large one put a hole through it and tie it on.

Comments about Aqua AquaSketch Minno Wrist Slate:

I have tried a number of slates in the past few years. The AquaSketch Minno is a neat little unit. I like the idea of the rolling surface so one can save notes, dive info etc. Low profile design that is easy to use. I liked the glow in the dark background as most places I dive have very low vis. Much better than most of the slates I have used.

Absolutely fabulous method to communicate with my friends underwater. I just write my comments and they can easily read them - then I advance the scroll and there's new paper for me to use! I would recommend this to everyone that uses slates or wants to communicate underwater! Bravo!!

AquaSketch
By Dr. C.Verified Purchaser from Orlando, FL on 9/27/2007
Pros:
Clever idea
Cons:
Pencil doesn't stay
Best Uses:
Cold Water, Professional, Recreation, Warm Water
Describe Yourself:
Advanced Diver
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Aqua AquaSketch Minno Wrist Slate:

The rolling writing surface is a clever idea and works well. It is fairly easily erased with a standard eraser once dry. The pencil does not stay in the holder very well. I had to stick in my sleeve. When I wasn't wearing a sleeved wetsuit, the pencil simply floated and eventually broke off. I am hoping I can find a replacement pencil because I like using this slate.
