Mini here is to be taken seriously. I do not recommend it. Does not retract easily, and usually gear you want to keep handy needs something a little tougher.

I use this product on a Aeris AI computer. It keeps the Aeris close to your chest and still allows you pull it away to easily view it.

I use this to clip my Suunto Cobra2(air integrated computer) to my BC. The quick release makes it convenient and the strength is just right for clipping on to a D-ring near the waistline. If you clip to a D-ring near your chest, it probably won't be strong enough to hold a console (but not sure you would anyway--I just know because I tried it out there first). The size is small and compact which was one feature I was looking for.
