I think I've gotten this on correctly once. Every other time I can barely fit the mouth piece (Aqualung Titan Octo) in the holder. Had to resort to a hose clip on the last dive, as I couldn't get the mouth piece in properly. I'm replacing this with the Dive-Rite holder and hoping it works better.

It's a tight squeeze for my octopus (Tusa Platina II Octopus), but the trick is to wet the inside of the holder a bit. After that, the octopus mouthpiece gets in easily.

I've never had the octopus coming out by accident.

Nice little accessory. It does what it should do.

This is a nice piece of gear. It keeps all the junk from getting into the mouthpieceand holds the octopus securely in position until it needs to get yanked out. It's a little tough to put on dry, but get it wet and it slides right on.

Fits my mouthpiece perfectly. Mine also came with a plastic clip that is not shown in the picture. It does its job nicely.

This item works great. It also looks good and there was no problem putting it on my BC.

I use it to keep dust and bugs etc out of my regulators. It does the trick and i can just clip it onto my bcd when i am ready to dive. Simple, easy to use. The clip is not shown in the pic listed, but it does come with one.

I am a diving instructor. I use this product with the stage strap on my pony bottle. It does what it was designed to do-hold the first stage.

Great way to keep your piece clean when not in use. Keeps you from dragging your mouthpiece directly on the ground and getting it stopped up with sand or debris.

The Aqua Octopus Holder with Split Ring keeps the sand out and octo nearby. It works well with medium firmness mouthpieces: too firm and it is difficult to fit in the holder, too soft and it easily slips from the holder. I keep the holder on the octo even when in not in use, and then just clip it to the BC for a dive.

Kept the sand out of my octo and was perfect. My octo never fell out of it even in a strong current. My buddy was some other kind and his was all over the place.

these things work O.K. split rings are hard to work with but they are better than nothing, when protecting your second stage from beach sand!!!
