I purchased this unit after much research and reading the review in the March 2008 Scuba Diving magazine. The unit is well designed and constructed. The sensor should last about 2-3 years. It uses a user replaceable 9v battery. You just have to reference the attached card for ambient temp. and humidity, turn a dial to calibrate, then hold the unit against your tank valve for 15 seconds. The readout is large and clear. I checked it against my LDS analyzer, and it was right on. The unit is made in the UK, and Leisure Pro has the best price [...] I highly recommend this unit.

When I received the analyzer, it was not working properly (sensor problems). Since I was leaving on vacation, I ordered a new one and returned the defective one to Leisurepro for refund. The new one worked fine and I used it diving in Cozumel. It is very easy to use, convenient, and its small size make sit a breeze to check your air while on the boat.

Great product - needed for all Nitrox divers. The sensor saver should have been included. It was nice that liesurepro did throw in a Pelican case.

This analyzer was very quick and easy to use. It allowed me to verify what the shop told me they were giving me which proved to only 28% when it should have been 32% EAN. They agreed after they retested it as well.

I agree with the other reviewer that the sensor cap should be included rather than offered only as an accessory. It's important to keep the sensor clean and dry. The Pelican case that comes with the analyzer is essential as well since this is one piece of equipment you definitely want to keep protected when travelling. I recommend that you also get the "pick and pluck" foam for the case for further protection.
As always, LP was easy to work with and the product arrived promptly and in good condition.

I am familiar with this analyzer & have used my buddies unit numerous times over the last 3 yrs. The local dive shop also uses one. I have used many different analyzers in all price ranges and have compared readings from several for the same dives. This unit is consistently accurate, has a failrly long sensor life, is quick & handy to use and very durable. Would be a 5-flag if it had a low pressure hook-up.

Very well designed, tough and rugged. This 02 Analyzer is build to withstand the riggors of diving. The on-off switch is a little strange it turns the unit on but the off function is automatic after about ten minutes or so. I would like better if you could just shut it off.

I really like diving Nitrox and this little jewel lets me do it with total peace of mind and being able to program it's reading right into my computer just before I dive,couldn't make diving better. No disappointments at all, except that it didn't come standard with a water tight padded case, something I had to buy in addition. Would recommend this to everyone.

Imagine you have waited all year for a great dive vacation, and you really are counting on using Nitrox for all the benefits afforded by it. You get to that remote destination and their analyzer isn’t functioning. The resort says. “Sorry, we are not willing or able to verify the mixture. You will have to use regular compressed air.” No big deal, or it is a major complication? For me it was a HUGE deal. I headed for my room, grabbed my analyzer, and started testing tanks. They were so impressed with my great tool that they offered to buy the one I had. It was new, so why not. I went home and purchased another one. I’ll never leave home without t again!

This analyzer truly provides piece of mind to me, my family, my students, and anybody else on the dive. Fellow divers come to see me now to test their gas mix before they go 'below.' When I teach a Nitrox course now, I always recommend this easy to use analyzer.
