I bought it to tie my Video housing to my harness. This lanyard simply does not do the job.

I use this clip with my camera. While the camera seems neutrally buoyant, with the clip it will sink indefinitely. I will be attaching some kind of flotation to ensure it floats on the surface.

I also found that the magnets weren't sufficiently secured in their plastic housing. When pulled apart the magnets pulled right out of their housing. This was fixed with some hot glue, though epoxy may a better adhesive.
