Vinyl strain-relief sleeves for instrument and scuba regulator hoses. Prevents strain damage to hoses. Hose Protector supports the hose near its termination atthe regulator first stage. Hose Protectors are useful for identifying rental regulators or special purpose equipment such as Nitrox-only regulators. Hose Protector is equipped with self-draining ribbed openings for proper flushing of mineral deposits when rinsed.

Just what I needed. The last ones lasted 12 years. Just a tiny !!!! bit of pure silicone lube made the installation a snap.

I'm really surprised how nice these are for this price. As others have pointed out, you'll need to heat them up with hot water...but they stay in place and look better than most of the supposedly higher quality protectors.

Good way to protect your hoses and identify your tanks on a crowded boat also ID your dive buddy in the water. Use hot water for application and stretch it a little with your pinky finger to get it over the nut.

The only problem I encountered was getting these was getting them on (it may be just me). That was solved by warming the hose protectors in a water bath on the stove.

They were difficult to install. I tried soap, but that just made it harder to hold onto, ultimately I used a heat gun to soften the end until I could get it started over the fitting. Seems to be made of pretty tough material.

I don't know what people don't like about these, they look good and serve their function. I use these on all of my hoses on all my reg set ups. I've never had a problem with them.
