The Fin Keeper lets you hook your fins to your belt or your BC. Two male ends stay looped through your fin straps; two female ends stay hooked (with a gate clip,) to your torso. This gizmo keeps your fins together and makes it easy to carry them.

I have these on both of my sets of fins and a clip on my BCD. I live in New England and so there are a lot of rocky shore entries. Having my hands free is a must for safe entries. These keep fins in place and easy to grab while letting me get in and out easier. A must have for any sort of shore diving.

These are great for shore diving! The design lets you detach one fin at a time, so your hands are never 'too full' where you're dropping anything while gearing up in-water after wading out across rocky beaches!

I do alot of shore diving and like an option to keep my hands free for other recreational toys (camera, speargun, goodybag...) This little keeper takes up no room and doesn't really add any snag points to my rig.
To answer the question of the negative reviewer, "why are the snaps mis-matched?", it's so that you have the option to either connect the fins to the swivel attachent on your BCD or clip the fins to each other. Connecting the fins is just another option to avoid a yardsale on the shore if you aren't wearing the BCD.

What a great, convenient little tool. When I'm entering a rocky shore dive, this little gadget is such a help in getting my gear down to the water. I don't have to worry about dropping my fins or loosing them in the water, and they are easily accessible.

Good concept and can easily hold your fins. My problem is with the clips. One fin loop has a male end the other a female end. So your trying to clip your fins back to your BC and you have to make sure you get the proper fin attached to the proper clip. Why didn't they make both fin loops male so either fin would clip into either receiver?
