They are spring straps. They are exactly what you want for easy on and easy off. I wear a size 12 boot and ordered a large band as per the instructions and it works perfectly.

here's the cons:
1. The finger grab is pretty small especially when its on your foot
2. There is no safety wire. May of the higher end versions run a wire through the middle of the spring in case the spring snaps, in order to prevent it from falling off / getting lost.

I fixed #2 by doing it myself with some cable and wrapped it around the securing bolts. It gives me a peice of mind. I would still reccomend these straps over higher priced models, based on price per functionality.

They are so convenient to put on and take off. I love using them. However, the spring is made of a very brittle material. The first time the spring snapped in half without being stretched, I used a piece of thick wire to mend them together. Few months later, the same spring broke at another end again without being stretched. Remember to have spare straps if you are using these spring strap since they can be broken any moment.

The straps worked great! The fins were very easy to put on and take off with the spring straps. The straps were comfortable. The straps exerted just enough pressure to keep the fins on.

This is a great product. My dive buddy and I are not as young as we used to be and anything that makes diving easier is really appreciated. These straps make putting on and taking fins off faster and much easier.

The ONLY negative to these well priced and made spring staps is that they fit my older BLADES perfectly but are to tight on my first generation apollo split fins. So I will order the next larger size for the apollos. Even at two pairs they are less than the competitors. WOO HOO to leisure pro!

I got my replacement set couple of days ago in perfect condition. The first set that I ordered arrived damaged. The rubber loop in one of the straps was broken. I contacted leisurepro and they sent me a return UPS label for me to return the damaged item and they sent me a new pair. I use the spring straps on my Apollo split fins. It fits perfectly. I can already tell how much easier it will make my life the next time I go diving. Did I forget to mention that the price for this is super dirt cheap too? Highly recommend it.

Since installing the spring straps, I have not had any slip offs from my fins. When it is time to "hit the ladder" the spring straps come off easily. No more fumbling to clear the booty from the heel.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago and have 9 dives with them now in 40F waters and 84F waters. They certainly make life easier. I noted they are stylish because I no longer have loose straps hanging out; making things nice and neat.

Just spend time measuring properly wearing your boots in your fins. Try both feet and try measuring a couple of times to ensure you have the right fit before making your order. The product description's directions are perfect.

Great product that really aids getting your fins on and off but they don't attach properly to the Mares Volo fins. Not a real problem but still an annoyance which resluts in 4 instead of 5 flags

These straps are really easy to put on even in cold water with drysuit boots! Recommend ordering smaller size. I have a 10 1/2 boot and the large was too big, had to go to Medium...

I have had a pair for a few years and now my wife put them on her fins. These spring straps make putting your fins easy as well as removing the fins. They won't break as the rubber one have been known too. They also are more comfortable then the rubber ones and need little to no adjustment.

Quick on, Quick off! Great for those dives where you are dangling on the ladder in rough seas trying to get your darn fins off without knocking yourself unconscious! Get's you in the water quick. I used the first pair for my rescue class and it sure beat the time and hassle of pulling the fin straps to tighten.

Greatly eases transition back on the boat. Easy to grab, much better than the stock straps. Use them on my Cressi Pro-Lites with easy installation. Never go without them again.

You wont have to pack any spare fin straps with these. I think they'll last a lifetime, with the stainless steel springs. I put these on my fins after my ABS straps that came with the fins broke after only a year of use. I love the ABS feature, but couldnt replace the rubber strap with anything that fit correctly. I bought the spring straps with the quick release feature. That may be the only weak point about these straps, but I have been using quick releases for years and never had one break.

These plug straight into Oceanic V-12 fins as they use identical female clips on the fin (so you end up with spares). Would be simple to use on any fin. Make sure you get the right size for your trotter! They are cheap so I bought too sizes just in case and sold one to a mate. They appear to be very strong and good quality. ***This is a much cheaper option than buying Apollo's DIY C-strap kit. Not only that you do not have to drill holes through rubber (very annoying & messy, + smoke everywhere)

Do not try to stretch if they are the wrong size (trust me)

I bought two pairs of these for my wife and I just before our recent live-aboard trip. These should be standard equipment from the fin manufacturers. They make both gearing up and getting back in a dive boat in seas and current so much easier. Half the boat was diving with them and the other half is out buying them now.

Great for quick removal of fins when getting back on the boat or when doing shore dives with current and surge. Saved me from getting nailed by waves on more that one occasion when diving in bad conditions.

They are great. I don't worry about loose fins. I have a bit of difficulty putting them on when I am wearing 5 mm gloves because my finger can't fit through the loo[.

These are one of the best things to come along in a long time! They make donning and dofing your fins so easy even with 7mm gloves on. I am a cold water diver and wear a dry suit and lots of gear. It's nice to just slip your foot in and pull the strap into place and forget it! And getting them off is just as easy. a quick pull on the finger loop and they are off.
