this product has help me keep my computer close to the body and save it from getting scratch by dragging it on the sea bottom. the release clip makes it easy to remove and can be attached to any part of your vest. its cheap and useful.

Works well with console. My wife has a Sherwood and I have a Oceanic. Just make loop and connect to your BC and jump in the water.

this is the worst invention ever, to set it properly you lose elasticity and will not be able to see computer, if you wana see your computer it will cease to work as an extender, i scratched my comp because of this bad product. DO NOT BUY

I have tried numerous different retractors and console holders and I prefer this one. It keeps your console close at hand for easy retrieval even in limited visibility or night diving without any retractor to break or jam. I also have one of these hooked to my backup light that is placed in my outside pocket (holster) of my BC.(without the rubber spacer attached)

Bought 4, broke 2 on first dive. Save your money and buy a better holder or a cheap plastic hose holder. It will last longer.

Works ok; it's nice to always have gauges in one known spot. Still, I wonder if it will break soon with all the pulling and stretching it undergoes. Essentially just an elastic line connected to a clip. Still, I would probably buy one again.

This one simple device kept my console right where I wanted it. The adjustable lanyard allows you to adjust it and leave it. The quick release clips allows you to hookup with a push or remove your console from your BC with a squeeze.

Of all of the dive gear that I have purchased this is one of my favorite items and some of the best money that I have spent. I secured the clip to my BC and routed the loop end trough my computer console. The quick disconnect lets me seperate the console from the BC while leaving the attachment ends in place. The adjustable elastic bungee strap allows me to pull my computer up to any level to check all of my info and just release and the console retracts into the low profile position. I wreck dive and spearfish quite a bit and this helps to keep everything in its assigned place and out of the way but allowing easy access when an item is needed.
This item should be listed as "essentail equipment".
