The industry standard for maximum strength repairs to wet suits, dry suits and all water sports products. Flexible urethane formula waterproofs, seals and protects against abrasion. Aquaseal has hundreds of water sports and household uses. For fast cure, use with Cotol-240 Cure Accelerator.
DIRECTIONS FOR neoprene REPAIR: Clean damaged area with Cotol-240 Cure Accelerator/Pre-cleaner or solvent (paintthinner, nail polish remover or similar). Trim loose threads. Non-fabric surfaces should be rough ended with sandpaper, then cleaned. Apply Aquaseal to surfaces directly from tube or with knife or flat stick. Keep repair level overnight. Avoid contact with other surfaces. Most repairs reach full strength overnight (10-14 hours). Allow longer for thickest repairs. For fastest cure (2 hours or less), mix in Cotol-240.
HOLES AND TEARS:
Create backing with removable tape. Fill void and 1/4" beyond edge with Aquaseal. Remove tape after full cure.
SEAMS:
Apply 1/16" thick bead overlapping seams edges by at least 1/4". Apply with slight pressure to saturate fabric surfaces.
HIGH WEAR AREAS:
Apply thin coat with knife for flexible abrasion resistance.
WARNING: FULLY CURED AQUASEAL IS SLIPPERY WHEN WET.
For added traction on footwear, sprinkle sand on uncured Aquaseal 1/2 hour afterapplying.
CLEAN UP:
To remove Aquaseal from hands, buff with cloth soaked in paint thinner, nail polish remover or 99% isopropyl alcohol.
STORAGE:
Advance contents to tube neck. Wipe clean and cap. Keep in cool, dry place; for extended life, place in freezer. To thaw or for easier-flowing contents, soak tube in warm water for 15 minutes.

Since using this urethane cement for fixing my wetsuits, I've discovered its about the best general purpose cement around. I use it to fix all kinds of things. I suggest getting the large tube. True, it does tend to harden in the throat of the tube after a while, but you can easily drill through the hardened cement to get it to flow again. I have done this repeatedly until the tube was used up over a couple of years. Great stuff.

The aquaseal repair adhesive is a necessary item in any save-a-dive-kit. I have found the smaller tubes to be better since they will harden once opened in some cases and it is better to have a couple of the small ones than one bigger tube on travels. Have used it to repair Geek-shorts, wet-suits and dry-suits. If repair job is a rush affair in between dives the separate accelerator will really come in handy.
