The 500 PSI antifog works well and is good for multi dives before an additional application is needed. Much better than the "more liquid anti fogs out there.

I know that some people love this stuff. I got it as part of a mask/snorkel/fin package. It works fine but it leaves a gritty residue around the borders of my mask that I have to scrub out at the end of the day.

I switched to "Spit" or Mcnett's "SeaGold". They work as well or better and i don't leave the gritty mess.

I gave the 500-PSI to a fellow in our Dive Club who swears by it and says he doesn't mind the grit so I guess it's just a personal choice.

Great doesn't wear off

We used Sea Drops for years but have become dedicated users of 500-PSI. I have always had issues with other defoggers esspecially when used during cold water (50 - 60 degrees) dives. It seemed that no matter what we used my mask always fogged somewhere, somehow. I now use only 500-PSI and never have any problems with fogging. From warm water to really cold we think this is the best defogger yet.

I really like this brand of mask defogger. I no longer use any other brands (nor do I use spit). This doesn't sting your eyes if you get a little water in your mask and the defogger gets into your eye - and it smells really nice.

For the money, you can't beat this product. I use it for my classes, and even new divers have success with it. Yes, there are more exensive products out there, that work great, but why spend the money???

As a dive master, it is imperative that I have unimpeded vision, and life is much simpler if the divers I'm leading can see as well. PSI 500 is an essential tool in my diving arsenal which allows me to accomplish this aim. Whether a person is extremely nervous (and so sweating profusely underwater), or the mask lense has not been properly cleaned, PSI 500 keeps masks fog free for the entire dive. While it almost always lasts the entire day, I apply after each dive for extra insurance.

The gimick with PSI 500 is that it does not appear to be a large quantity of defog for the price. Do not be fooled! It requires far less PSI 500 to defog a mask than other defogs. (e.g. apply as little as you can to be able to smear the entire lense, and this is sufficient) As such, one small container of PSI 500 lasts hundreds of dives. (Between my 4 bottles rolling around, I couldn't say exactly how many hundreds)

In summary, myself, and the dive shop I work with have found this to be the best defog on the market. Others do work well, but not as well.
