Warning: Sharks are dangerous
Sharks can be dangerous and often unpredictable creatures. While extensive testing has been done and great care has been taken, to develop and manufacture the Shark Shield. It is simply impossible to guarantee that all sharks will be deterred under all circumstances. With or without the protection of a Shark Shield. all sharks should be treated with respect and caution. Water sport participation in the presence of sharks is inherently dangerous and is not a recommended activity. Any human activity in the water near sharks must always be considered as possessing a considerable degree of risk.

I'v used this on over 30 freedives now and it is still working great. After having two encounters with White Sharks on the north coast of California in the past 8 years - my wife says we need to use it because it might help in the event a curious or hungry shark decides to visit us when we are out Ab diving. I agree with that if it will help at all during any part of an encounter it is worth the $. I know the sharks are there and I don’t think they are looking for people as food or we would never be able to go in the waters where we freedive. If someone I am diving with ever does get attacked I will feel much safer helping them to shore with this device on my leg.
