DIN Assembly is constructed from Marine Grade Corrosion Resistant Chromed Brass. Higher pressure will allow you to extend your bottom time. HP cylinders are made from steel, so you can also remove some of the weight from your weight system due to the lower buoyancy characteristics of the HP cylinder.

Personally I think DIN is a superior hookup & is clearly more compact-It's a shame the reg's don't come equipped this way. Conversion was easy though it would be nice if they included the torque spec's in the bag-I don't see a need to pay someone for a really simple conversion & having had poor service from "Authorized Repair Fascilities" I'd rather do it myself. It's my life on the line, not the repair guy.

This adapter works very well - but should have been included with the original purchase and not as an added item.

Fits perfectly. O-ring and filter are included. Threded plastic cap stors extra tank o-ring for others without DIN connection. Can be tightened with deeply inserted 7mm Allan Wrench. Nice!
