The Otter Box is a patenteddry box designed to handle full submersions--up to 100 feet! The solid color boxes provide nearly 100% UV protection. The main caseseal is made from a foamed silicone cord. The plastic used to make the colored Otter Boxes is an ABS plastic that's reinforced with fiberglass. The hinge pins are made from marine grade 316 Stainless Steel which is the standard choice for salt and freshwater applications. The material used to make the foam liners is open cell polypropylene foam.

This box is phenomenal. I can store my iPhone, a Motorola Razor, a fairly thick Wallet and set of keys in this box with no problems. The inside is foam so you don't have to worry about scratching your electronic devices. It is durable and does a perfect job of keeping the water out.

I got this to make a dive light, and was wary buying something online. The cases they had at the local dive shop were pretty light weight. This is as Otter advertises it, extremely heavy duty.
It could use some strap rings or something, but otherwise excellent.
