I wanted a watch to replace my Luminox. I lost one Lum surfing Daytona when the velcro band came undone and another was ruined surfing Nicaragua when salt water got in it. The Freestyle has a very solid band, very accurate and stylish. I thought it was tritium and self illiminating, but it is not. You need to expose it to light source. Comfortable. My Lum had the crown rub hard on my wrist; the Black Tip Shark II does not. I've worn out Lum bands; this one is great. The Lum accidentally opened up a couple of times and water got in. Not with this one. Great price. Solid. Easy to read hand. I just wish it was bright tritium.
