This watch is a masterpiece of technology. Unfortunately, it has so many features that it is necessary to frequently use all the features, or to keep a copy of the owners manual handy so that one might review the procedures to be able to use them. E.G: I recently took a trip to the eastern US and I forgot how to change the regional time zone city... remember, that it is not possible to reset the time manually as this watch resets itself nightly via the national time standard broadcasts of WWV nightly. Accordingly, I had to find Casio's website for the Pathfinder watches, and to download a 15 page PDF file to be able to have the proper time zone displayed!
That said, I am an engineer and a technophile, I love this watch, complexities and all!
Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
I like all the features, temperature to be accurate the watch must be off your wrist for about 30 min.
The watch automatically updates the time at night.
The barometric graph is helpful to know the weather is changing especially with our weather chinooks.
I ordered the watch Wednesday morning and the watch was delivered Thursday supper time overnight and cleared customs only had to pay the government GST.
Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
So I've owned this watch for almost two years now and it has been a wonderful addition to my daily life. I have smaller than avg wrists and the watch is not bulky at all. All of the features function as described. I primarily use the time / timezones / love the barometer / altimeter & compass while hiking, etc. I really enjoy this multifunction time piece and I really have only two slightly negative things to say. The alarm is practically inaudible. do not rely on this thing to wake you up. Second, after two years of constant daily wear, the plastic pieces on the face have worn and detract from the appearance of the piece. But that's it. I've had this thing on every day for almost two years and have had it in the mountains, valleys, in the ocean, in may different conditions and the two things that keep this marvel performing (the solar charger and the wave ceptor time update) have NEVER failed.

If you are looking for a watch that would help you survive if you were deserted on a desert island this is the watch. Seriously though, you can't ask for much more in a watch. It NEVER needs a battery. You NEVER need to adjust the time. It has a compass, an altimeter, barometer, thermometer, Automatic backlight by turning your wrist, and it's ultra lightweight titanium. It's amazing. I compared it to all the other Pathfinder watches that have a metal band. (I can't stand strap watches) and this is the thinnest. The PAW-1100 is much thicker and the band is ugly. The PAW 1500 is basically the same as this one except it adds Moon Phase. I dont really care about the moon phase since I can look up and it takes away from some of the display. Actually, having the moon phase changes the display all together and I didn't care for it at all. This one has the right display and is thin. Big but thin and that's what I like about it. I'll bet Tom Hanks wishes he had one on the island when he was stuck there in the movie Castaway.
Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
I've had it for about 2 years. I've used it when mountain climbing, travelling and as an everyday watch. The watch is very accurate and the time sets itslef without any problems. Switching between timezones is very easy. The display is large. Compass is very accurate. Altimeter worked fine in high and freezing cold Andes.
You don't need to worry about the battery. So far I have never seen the battery indicator go to medium or low even though I have never tried to charge the battery (like letting the watch sit exposed to bright light).
Cons: The watch is a bit heavy. To get accurate air temperature reading you need to have the watch off your wrist for about 5 minutes.

I use the barometer feature to help me plan outdoor activities.
Leisure Pro is tops - fast, accurate with fair pricing
Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
Nice watch but needs altimeter calibration all the time. Being in Australia it atomic timekeeping doesn't work but it is nice and easy to change time zones. Overall, a very good and nice watch.
Fast as usual! I love your work guys.
Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
I use this watch daily. I love it. Had to figure out how to calibrate it. Then again I'm one of those guys who doesn't read manuals. It's very light, and the atomic self setting is awesome. Better than my older g-shock (it has a hard time making the connection)
First time using LeisurePro, great turn around on my order, fast, great prices & accurate.

Best Of it's kind. $5.00 to size the band at any local shop. All who complain do not know how to use it... Read the manual. Also, solar is the best, you can really get to know the thing without having to worry about batteries. Owned one year.
Great service. The BEST price.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
After reading several reviews I was cautious about buying this watch. The reviews made it seems like it was easily damaged, non-friendly interface and the bracelet impossible to adjust. Not being a big person, I was also concerned about the size. After three weeks here are my impressions: The size is fine, it is bigger than any other of my watches, but by no means too big or bulky. The bracelet is easily adjustable (though I do have experience in the jewelry business) and sizes down to fit my small wrist with no problem. The interface is easy (I did read the manual) to use and remember. The calibrations worked smoothly and consistently. It seems to be very accurate in its measurements. I have had no problem with the atomic signals and don't even put the watch by a window. I pretty much ignore it as I have it set to auto calibrate. It does every day, mostly on the first attempt. I have banged it several times, getting used to where it is on my wrist. Yes the band has a few scratches. But then it isn't a dress watch is it? I really like it. I think I got my money's worth and then some.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
I've only had a few weeks. Recently used it on a snow skiing vacation in Breckenridge, CO. It was easy to use and did a good job tracking my day. I was a little disappointed in the accuracy of the altitude and wished it tracked number of decents/lifts per day, however, it did a good job tracking total decent/ascent in feet. I easily calibrated when I knew the altitude.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
I am a little obsessive for wanting to know the exact time. Since this Casio receives the atomic clock update daily, it fits the bill. Also, I wanted a solar powered watch...Check. I also like the compass and thermometer features.
Quick filling the order, and getting the watch shipped in good condition. Watch was already preset for East Coast time. Being a member of BBB is a plus. LeasurePro will be my first place to look for watches and scuba releated items.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
Bought watch for foreign travel and to wear around water. Watch functions were fairly accurate out of the box, only minor adjustments needed to be made. Operators Guide easy to follow. Very comfortable to wear, good weight, looks good, and is easy to read.
Con: Watch strap is hard to adjust and is to large even for a person with large wrists. Only way to shorten is to remove links by a jeweler.
Leisure Pro is just the BEST! I have purchased a good deal of equipment from them and it always is delivered on time and as promised. Very few problems with products, and when those were experienced, Leisure Pro handled the problem promptly and kept me informed. I highly recommend Leisure Pro to any diver I meet as a GREAT source for equipment at great pricing.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
The Casio PAW1300 is the perfect watch for backpacking. I bought it for this purpose, & am not disappointed. Using a topo map with the altimeter gives you accurate readings as to where you are on the trail (the altimeter will need to be calibrated, just like any other watch). All of the other features are great. The 2 things, in my opinion, that make it outperform other brands, are the solar power & the atomic timekeeping. Absolute accuracy & no need to change batteries - perfect!
Prompt delivery & good communication! I like that they accept PayPal.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
Beat expectations. Not clunky- heavy. Extremely comfortable. Accurate but barometer can't be tested here in Fl as average land elevation for state is eight feet above mean high tide. Only thing missing is a global positioning chip. This coupled with a paper map could be a life saver. Casio please take notice. Reason watch body is resin(plastic) is to let the atomic clock radio signal penetrate the watch--I think.
Watch arrive by UPS three days ground as promised. No hitches. Leisurepro is a pro and offered watch at a great price. Saw older model of the watch at two retailers here from between $169 and $279.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
Great watch, super accurate for time. Nice to have solar power. Manual is about as thick as they get. There are tons of functions on this watch I've only scratched the surface. Unfortunately, I did scratch the watch in the first few days I had it. But that was more due to a t-square hanging off the side of a table than anything else. Compass, Altimeter, and Temp functions don't seem to be very accurate. But I guess my calibration techniques might not have been very good. The titanium band is awesome. The watch is so light. Just wish the rest of the body was as durable as the band. Overall, an awesome watch. I just need to tweak it some more.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
This does everything it's supposed to just fine. Compass, altimeter and barometer seem very accurate. Fits well (after having links removed from band at jeweller), looks good and seems to have no problem getting wet in salt water (although I rinse it off as soon as possible).Only minimal problem is acquiring atomic clock signal. It has to be pointed in a certain direction at night to calibrate. May take some experimentation, but once you find the location in your house has no further problems. Definitely recommend.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
This was actually a retirement gift for my boss. He is a self-described technical dinosaur, and yet he found the watch very easy to use. He liked the over-sized watch/watch face for his "old eyes", but like many people I think the regular design watch face is too big. I gave him the slimmer design watch, and its still large. While it seemed accurate, my boss left w/in a week for a 6 month cruise, so I can't really testify to the technical accuracy of the depth gauge, compass etc. He was very happy with it, and my co-workers all thought it was a great watch as well.
Customer service was great. I was on a tight schedule, and the watch arrived promptly.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
I purchsed the 1300T-7V primarly for hiking. The compass works great. Having gotten lost twice in the past, I feel much more secure wearing the Pathfinder when going on long hikes in the wilderness. The Altimeter is ok. It works based on the barometric pressure and is fairly accurate. I use it more for calculating the vertical distance I climb more than for absolute altitude accuracy. I am dissapointed in the thermometer. I have to constantly reset it for accuracy and when wearing it, body temperature affects the readout significantly. The watch has a very nice appearance. However, I have had a problem with the pins falling out on my Titanium Band.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
Minor scratches will polish out with metal polish, but Titanium band is softer than stainless steel. You may want to consider composite band if little scratches are a problem. You need to position the watch near a window to get consistent time updates every night, but it works well if not updated every night. VERY accurate if updated nightly!

If you are not concerned with being stylish, this is the watch for you. I am told that the Navy Seals are issued another, but very similar, Casio model. If you purchase this watch, you will know why.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
The altimeter is not accurate. Thermometer is accurate, and barometer is quite accurate (checked against a Nova Hg column barometer), but altimeter readings for the same location vary widely. Sent watch back to Casio - awaiting diagnosis.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300T-7V Silver Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder Titanium:
I'm more of an automatic dive watch guy, they're simple and reliable. But since I don't do any mixed gas diving I don't really need all 300-1000m of water resistance my other watches afford me. I have a g-shock that I use for running so I decided to try another casio product. While it's not a dive watch by design it's good enough for snorkeling and shorter dives. The solar and atomic functions mean this watch has an essentially unlimited power reserve (unlike my mechanicals) and you will always keep accurate time (according to atomic clocks). The titanium band an accents make this watch look a lot more expensive than its resin counterparts and make it a lot lighter too. Build quality is exceptional and the accuracy of the various functions is well whithin acceptable standards (you should always have backups anyway).
Unbelievable. I received my watch within two days. That may not be significant for my American neighbors but anyone who's done international shopping online knows this is rarely the case even when stated on the website. The ordering process and invoicing was clear, concise and timely. I'll definitely order from Leisure Pro before other shops.
