Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300G-1V Black Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder:

So far I really like this watch. The face is a bit big but I knew that going in. The only thing I wish it had was date programable alarms. It has 5 alarms but all are daily alarms. My previous watch allowed you to set alarms based upon date or set them as daily alarms. Also, I didn't find either band that comfortable, I preferred the velco strap from my previous watch. I was able to buy an new velcro band and install it on this watch. Being able to easily switch out the band is a nice feature.
So far I have found the sensors to be pretty accurate out of the box and have not calibrated any of them. Time synch has occurred every night even when I don't leave it near a window.

Comments about Casio Casio PAW1300G-1V Black Slim Atomic-Solar Pathfinder:

This is the easiest to use Casio Pathfinder I have owned. I really like the ability to change watch bands. Slide one band out slide another band in. It would be easy to make your own band and use it with this watch as well. I can't tell if the band is any more breathable than the resin band on other models but it is comfortable. The barometric pressure graph is quite revealing. The display uses large numbers and is easy to read even in poor light. When you do need the backlight it illuminates the display evenly and brightly. Time has synced successfully every night. The included Manual is excellent.

I looked at many brands of altimeter watches before selecting this one. Other brands lacked features I am accustomed to using in my previous watches and did not seem to offer any advantages. In the Casio Line it was hard to decide between the PAW1200 and PAW1300 series. The differences are minor in specs operation and display. After obtaining one from each series I noticed that the 1300 has a little brighter display in normal light. The 1200 display seems to be deeper down in the watch. The 1200 is a larger and heavier watch than the 1300 and previous pathfinder models I have owned. The 1200 lacks a second hand indicator traveling around the diameter of the watch that the 1300 has which adds a touch of analog feel. In the 1300 line the 1300G-1v is the lightest weight model.
