Comments about Casio Casio PAG80T-7V Triple Sensor Pathfinder Watch, Titanium Band:

I love this watch, especially when camping or hiking. The barometer is very accurate, so it can really give you a jump on changes in the weather (especially useful is the history graph it records!)and the compass is a great help. Temperature sensor picks up heat from your wrist, so for an accurate air temp reading, would need to take it off and let it set for a while.

Comments about Casio Casio PAG80T-7V Triple Sensor Pathfinder Watch, Titanium Band:

This is a great everyday watch for someone who works out in the elements. I purchased this watch as an upgrade to my G-Shock about a year ago before leaving for Iraq. Not the intense heat of eastern Iraq, spring floods, nor the inescapable dust has hampered the performance of this watch. The features on the watch are very easy to use and a nice little bonus to this tough little package. The compass is good for reference but I would not use it as my primary navigation aid. The thermometer is not accurate while it is on your wrist however if taken off and placed on a room temperature surface for a few minutes the watch gives a quite accurate reading. I calibrated the altimeter at an airfield in Kuwait then checked it at another airfield in Iraq a few days later and I was pleased with the level of accuracy. I don't really use the barometer because I have a pretty good idea as to what it's going to tell me so I don't really use that feature. This watch (with the Titanium band) was actually recommended to me by an Israeli Army Engineer two summers ago and it has lived up to his recommendation. [...] Basically you really do get what you pay for so if you're wrestling with the decision whether or not to buy this watch; just buy it, wear it, enjoy it and don't waste time with "buyers regret," it's a great watch.

Comments about Casio Casio PAG80T-7V Triple Sensor Pathfinder Watch, Titanium Band:

I was looking for a new triple sensor (temp/alt/baro) watch to replace my old Casio Alti-Thermo (ALT-6100). That watch continues to work, but after replacing the band and pins half a dozen times, the pin holes in the resin case were worn out. After reading lots of reviews, the Casio Pathfinder line seemed ideal and durable (I have tried and trashed other multi-sensor watches, including expensive ones), and the titanium band was attractive since I was planning an extended sailing trip. The watch has lived up to some rugged handling over the past 6 months, and it's clear why the Air Force Special Forces likes this watch (in the resin band), according to reviews on other sites. As indicated in other reviews, the titanium band will scratch, although they are not highly visible. I've found the adjust button a little difficult to push in, but that makes it also difficult to activate accidentally. The watch face is also BIG - I've had more than one person note I have a big watch, but my wrist is not overly thick, and to my eye, this watch is no bigger than many alternative multi-sensor sport watches. Comments about Casio Casio PAG80T-7V Triple Sensor Pathfinder Watch, Titanium Band:

Used the compass and the altimeter in hiking/trekking. Altimeter has to be recalibrated from time to time (all described in the manual).
Solid feel and the bezel protects from scratches.
Only disadvantage: it is a bit bulky but it is a small price to pay for such a versatile watch. Titanium is very lightweight, non-alergenic (I got allergy to nickel form stainless steel).
