Comments about Casio Casio GW810H-2V Atomic Tough Solar G-Shock:
A lot of nifty features. Be prepared to read through the manuel and expect to refer back to the manuel when/if you want to change the settings.
This is my first atomic watch and as I've read online they need to be placed in a window facing Colorado. The signal is best received at night. You can set this watch to automatically attempt to receive the signal during nighttime hours.
Some of the features:
The watch will turn off the display between the hours of 10pm and 6am if the watch is in darkness for more than 60 minutes. That's if you have it in power saving mode. Just push one of the function buttons or light display button or expose it to light and it will turn the time display back on.
The light will turn on automatically at nightt (if you have the auto-light display setting to on) when you look at your watch. How cool is that!!! Also if this feature is on and the display goes into power saving mode it will turn the display back on just by looking at the watch.
Cons:
The display is easy to read in bright light but can be difficult in lower medium-light conditions if the watch is at an angle to your eyes. Face on it's fine.
Here's a link to the manual in pdf form. This watch is the 3050B model.

This watch is smaller than it looks and has the quality of a G-shock watch. Lots of features that are practical.
