I didn't want to spend a fortune on a dive watch since the use was for kayaking, but I did want a watch I could also feel safe having underwater when we cooled off in the water (the air temps were above 100 degrees at times!) Casio watches aren't fancy, but they do the job, and I wasn't looking for a Rolex!

i`ve had one similar it went through hurrican Andrew untill i lost it. i bought this one and its been very durable. i use it for diving anywhere from 1hr. to 6hrs in salt water. no problems with it. i use this for other applications mud,sand,snow,cold places an it work fine. my watch takes a beating at work with heavy tools in used all day. no problems. the band is pretty good hasn`t came apart yet. i would recomd this watch for any outdoors and/or work your doing.

Somewhat bulky, but not an issue. I purchased a ladies version (smaller) over 10 years ago and it's still working.

I have used G-shocks for years. They are dependable, rugged, and stay water proof to the end. It was a delight to get the new watch with the new back light.
I wish they hadn't changed the button functions.
Wrist band still not as durable as the watch.
