I have owned this gun for a little over a year. The rope clip has snapped, this happened whilst reloading (normal operation) it broke off in my hand. And then the safety snapped in half this weekend. Comments about Cressi Cressi SL with Power Reducer Spear Guns:
I recently bought both the Cresisub SL and Star and the cable holder on both came off with in a few weeks of owning the guns. Of course, there is no where I can find to get the little plastic retainer and pin. My crew was recently featured in Louisiana Sportsman (July) for spearfishing. I know guns. If this flaw in the design would be fixed the gun is perfect. Still need the parts.

I have owned this speargun for a while now and it still works great.. Becareful how much air you add to the gun because while it does make it more powerful it also makes it harder/impossible to crank down and load underwater.. I had this problem on a dive and I couldnt load it so I wasnt able to fish..
