The stainless steel trigger mechanism is unsurpassed because of its reliability and smooth action. The high grade grooved mahogany, barrel provides pinpoint accuracy, easy underwater maneuverability due to its neutral buoyancy and absorbs 80% of the gun's firing noise.

African Padauk is characterized by a swirling, interlocking grain. It is almost entirely red in color and is easily one of the most beautiful woods of the world.

The A.B. Biller Padauk spearguns are hand made and hand-rubbed with boiled linseed oil.

First time using this AB Biller speargun was in a tournament 2 days after recieving it. I brought in a 28" amberjack and a couple of red snapper! It worked excellent...I was amazed how accurate and quiet it shot compaired to aluminum spearguns I previously used.

Comments about Ab Biller AB Biller Padauk Speargun:

I have the 36" gun and I fish here in Guam close to shore mostly and I like this gun for the most part. It works well for 5-6 ft shots after that it just doesn't have the power unless you upgrade the bands. I lost a fish today about 10lbs because the spear didn't penetrate far enough to hold the fish. The spear is a little heavy for the stock bands but if you upgrade the bands this is a great gun to stick in between rocks and in small places. If you get this gun make sure to be careful that the tip doesn't come unscrewed while your swimming around. I would buy this gun again as long as I could get the bigger bands.

I like this gun. The only thing I don't like is the shaft is a little big for the power of the stock bands. The range is okay for the length of the gun but it could benefit from power bands. All in all I would buy this gun again but just a little bigger for the fishing I do.

Comments about Ab Biller AB Biller Padauk Speargun:

This gun is very smooth. The wood is really good looking, quite, and lifts the gun above your head after the shot. I enjoy using the shock line coil instead of having to wrap the provided shockline back in place. I shot a 54 pd Cobia with this gun and the fish swam around in circles until I was tangled in the shockline-I went home and ordered the coiled line after I had the standard line around my neck. If you get the coiled line, get the longest one available so it doesn't pull back as quickly and subtract range.

This gun is well made and I'm proud that it was made in the USA! I'm in the furniture export business and must inspect prototype solid wood furniture pieces on a daily basis. The padauk stock is flawless as well as all of the other parts of this gun. I chose the 32" model because it easily breaks down for packing in an ordinary suitcase/divebag. Keep up your high standards AB Biller!!

I love this gun! I dive in warm waters and this is as good as it gets. The wood color is extremely beautiful, the shaft is able to withstand great abuse without bending or warping, and the hard plastic handles have never even scuffed. Get it; you won't regret it!
