Underwater photos will be brighter and more vibrant with SeaLife's fully automatic Sl960 External Flash system. Take magazine-quality underwater photos from 2 to 8 ft.

SeaLife's external flash unit provides additional light for brighter underwater pictures with more vivid colors. With a flexible arm extending the flash unit over the camera, SeaLife has developed a unit that allows divers to aim the flash at most any angle.

SeaLife's large External Flash unit provides additional light for brighter underwater pictures with more vivid colors. To reduce annoying backscatter - small particles in the water that reflect light and cause white spots to appear in the picture, SeaLife's external flash is positioned 12 inches away from the camera's lens and the camera has a deflector that cover the camera's built-in flash;. The unit allows divers to aim the flash at most any angle. The flash unit can function reliably at distances from 2 - 8 feet from the subject. The flexible arm allows easy aiming at any angle, and is rubber armored to provide a sure grip.

Mounts easily to the Reefmaster RC SeaLife cameras equipped with external flash mount. Includes a deluxe carrying case. Requires 4 AA batteries (not included).

Note: Two external flashes can be utilized, one on each side

Comments about Sealife SeaLife External Flash For ReefMaster, #SL960:

Good external flash for the money. Should have purchased the flash link to ensure that the flash fired at all times. Used for a week diving between 40-120 feet and seals held up at all depths. Batteries lasted the whole trip (17 dives), used AA Lithium.

Cons were that if you got too close to the subject and the flash fired the image was blown out, but for the most part we were able to get some good shots.

I use the strobe in about 70' to 100' depth range. The visability ranges from 10' to 50'. So far so good, but I have only been on two dives with it so time well tell if I continue to like it.

I found this Sea Life flash to be difficult to use and unreliable at best. Often times I found it off timed from the camera's flash making it tough to adjust for shots. I returned this model and opted for something else.

Comments about Sealife SeaLife External Flash For ReefMaster, #SL960:

I have been taking pictures for years (on land). This was my first time trying (key word) to take pictures under water. You really need to do a lot of trial and error. The external flash made a BIG difference. I had to make sure to set the camera for external (yes, there is an option to set on the camera). I am very pleased with the purchase and the operation.

Comments about Sealife SeaLife External Flash For ReefMaster, #SL960:

I bought this to see if I would enjoy underwater photography. The base unit for this camera is great. The strobe however is bulky and trying to night dive with it awkward.... it would be nice to mount a light with the camera and the strobe, so it only requires one hand.

Comments about Sealife SeaLife External Flash For ReefMaster, #SL960:

The strobe is needed because you'll get backscatter which is evil for underwater camera. However, you'll need a flashlink in order to have the flash fire every time you press the button.
