Have used other sealife products in the past but when a recent trip to Hawaii came about it gave the opportunity to upgrade to the DC600. Easy to use never failed and was pleased with picture quality. The link with the digital strobe was great and faster shutter recovery helped capture those few shots they may have been missed. Thanks for a great product.

I purchased this package to replace my Nikonos 5 and strobe for underwater, fishing, and land based photo opportunities during my travels. I've only really tested it 2 times and although I came up with some good pictures, was very disappoited in the camera battery life. The spare battery I purchsed is virtually useless and will not make it through one dive. However, after getting through the learning curve and correcting some setting errors (pilot error), it is very gratifying to see your photos immediately and to be able to carry one camera for virtually everything. I use the case on my fishing trips and it has allowed me to take some interesting pictures witout fear of destroying a digital camera. Its a good start into digital underwater photography.

The DC600 Elite kit comes with everything you need to take beautiful underwater photos. I've taken mine as deep as 165' without issue. For the most part it takes crisp, clear pictures underwater and on land. I have had zero leaks since I've owned this camera...in the housing or strobes. Definitely not a "pro" setup, but I have taken some stunning pictures with this setup.
