The SeaLife DC500 ProSet is specifically designed for divers to take brighter, colorful pictures underwater. SeaLife's unique Land & Sea exposure modes optimize picture quality in low-light conditions. By adding the SeaLife External Flash (SL960), even brighter more colorful images can be captured at greater depths and under adverse conditions. The DC500, 5 mp camera is compact and fully rubber-armored for ruggedness and comfortable handling to a depth of 200 feet. The One-Button-Operation allows even the novice to take great pictures, while the expert can access all Advanced-Dive controlsof the DC500 while underwater. The New "Shark Mode " feature allows for faster and sharper pictures of moving objects underwater by setting the shutter to virtually no shutter lag.

Had some problems with the Tray - which the tray cracked at the base of the Strobe.

The colours turned out wonderfully. Can't wait to use it again.

I have taken hundreds of pictures,and I haven't
had any problems from depths ranging from water line down to 135',and also great pictures on land.
Overall great underwater camera for the price.

like the camera very much. i sometimes get blurry pictures but a lot of that is being in surge at the time. 1 - 10 scale 10 being the best, i would rate it and 8 - 8.5.

The camera failed on our dive trip to Cozumel (on day three) We called when we got back & they took ours back & sent a new one.

While I'm new to underwater Photgraphy, I am LONG time diver. I've seen the photos taken be other divers and was always interested in getting into this arena. This is a GREAT starter camera, but it lacks the WOW! I've seen from other cameras. Sure, if you VERY comforable with PhotoShop I'm sure you can work your pictures into somethnig spectacular, but i've seen AMAZING results from other systems with NO tweaking needed.
