Comments about Olympus Olympus PT-034 Underwater Housing for the Stylus 740 & 750 Digital Cameras:

I used my new Stylus 750 Camera /Housing on a shallow (20') checkout dive before we went to Belize. Wanted to check for leaks and get used to using the new camera. On the very first dive the plastic flash diffuser insert floated away. [...] No luck! The best advice was to cut a new diffuser out of a plastic milk bottle. Worked OK - but not very professional service. The housing worked fine on our trip but I should have heeded the advice of others on the camera. The Stylus 750 has no optical viewer and the screen is useless in any light at all! All you see is a black screen. The sun shade on the housing helps and at depth you can see a little better but it is literally point-and-hope you get your picture. The housing works fine but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend simply because the camera sucks!
