I am a diver and have had this case (and my own camera inside of it) to 110 feet. The casing is excellent and does not leak when properly maintained. The fact that it conforms perfectly to my Olympus 5000 camera is a huge advantage over buying a general purpose waterproof case. I only had one problem (leaking) with this case and it was my own fault. You MUST clean the O-ring and seal frequently (especially in salt water) and MUST be meticulous about it. Any speck of dirt or hair on the O-ring can cause a leak (and did, in my case). I had to buy a new camera.[...]I would recommend this casing to anyone having an Olympus 5000 and a yen to use it underwater. The case is very tough. Mine has been banged around on rocks and dragged in the sand. Not recommended, but nice to know that it still works like it should.

easy to use even with gloves as long as you know the buttons. You have to pre set the type of picture before you dive, screen could be brighter, a limitation of the camera, not the case.

I am not great photographer but I really enjoy looking at my photos after the dives as it allows me to acurately identify what I have seen. Sometimes I even have photos of creatures that I didn't remember seeing. It is a fun way to learn more and document the differences in dive sites. I have a couple of cameras I take underwater and it is these cases which make it possible.

Nice product. The only problem is that the shutter lever doesn't quite reach the camera shutter button, so I had to build it up with a small rubber pad.
